The Balkan Salsa - Bachata - Kizomba Congress is a four-day Latin dance festival held at the four-star Samokov Hotel in Borovets, Bulgaria, typically attracting more than 4,500 dancers from the Balkan region and worldwide. The daytime program features dance workshops across eight halls led by instructors from around the world, pool parties, and social events with dance animations. Nightly activities include performance shows featuring solo, couples, rueda, team, kids, and group performances, as well as the Balkan International Dance Cup competition. Evening dance parties run until morning across six different halls, with dedicated spaces for LA/NY salsa, Cuban salsa, bachata, and kizomba, featuring international DJs and live orchestras.
The XVIII International Meeting of Latin Rhythms "Albacete en Salsa 2027" takes place March 5–7 at Hotel Palacio Albacete & SPA and the Palacio de Congresos in Albacete, Spain, with this edition dedicated to Cuban conga. The festival features over 35 dance workshops across three days, two days of social dancing, two days of performances, the ninth National Casino Wheel competition and exhibition, and a choreographic award called "Coliseo," alongside more than 100 national and international artists and dance companies. DJs include Carlos, Cristian, Jordi Mambo Brother, Jhonny, Miguel Angel, and Frank. The National Casino Wheel competition on March 7 offers prizes of 400 euros for first place, 200 euros for second, and 100 euros for third.
