About This Festival

Kizomba on the Island is a summer finale event held on September 5th on Laxön, an island in the Nissan River near Halmstad. The day features five hours of workshops in Urban Kizomba, Kizomba Fusion, Konpa, and Tarraxo, taught by instructors from across southern Sweden, followed by a party with DJ Jakob running until 3 a.m. (with volume reduced after 11 p.m.). The event includes a break with sauna access, river swimming, and barbecue facilities, with taxi dancers available throughout. Tickets range from 450 to 1000 SEK depending on early-bird pricing and single or couple passes, with limited glamping accommodation available for overnight stays.
